From the Back Cover:
Key Benefit: This is the official review series for the Certified Professional Secretary Examination (CPS) — endorsed by Professional Secretaries International and carefully coordinated with actual exam content. The Examination includes three levels of questions designed to test: 1) basic knowledge such as facts, terminology, dates; 2) understanding of concepts, procedures, and principles; and, 3) application of concepts. Key Topics: Current content updates techniques in office practice and procedures. The test now contains three parts (instead of 6): Management, Office Management Procedures and Finance/Business Law, and lasts only one day. It uses a sentence and paragraph outline that keeps explanations brief, enumerates important points, outlines procedures step-by-step, highlights situations found in realistic business settings, lists other books and references for more in-depth study, and illustrates difficult concepts. It also provides review questions that are in the same format as used on the Exam and cross-references solutions to appropriate sections. It includes a list of terms to review at the beginning of each chapter, and a glossary at the end of the book.
