He is the author of the widely used Rathus Assertiveness Schedule and has written several college textbooks, including Psychology: Concepts & Connections, AIDS: What Every Student Needs to Know, Human Sexuality in a World of Diversity, and Childhood and Adolescence: Voyages in Development.
