The Samma are one of the earliest recorded settlers and rulers of Sindh. The Samma Monuments are part of a funerary cluster located at Makli Hill, the world's largest necropolis which is on the World Heritage list. Dating back to the 14th century, these brick and stone monuments are spread over five acres and are largely structures of a religious nature.
