Synopsis
This second volume of The Later Poems of John Clare, 1837-1864, covers Knight's Transcripts of the poems from the Northampton Asylum and includes the Clare's Last Six Poems. As with other volumes in the edition, many of the poems have never before been published, and Clare's spelling, punctuation, grammar, and vocabulary have all been carefully preserved.
