“I find this text readable, accessible to students, and very current, with a good balance of research and analysis.... I felt there was a great balance of classic and current research, with updates provided for what has happened since the classic studies took place.”
--Jill Esmonde, Georgian College
“The writing style is appropriate and the majority of the examples and explanations are clear. The examples, for the most part, add to the clarity and I enjoyed the writing style of the authors. As mentioned, the personal information relating to the experiences of the authors is interesting and informative. It allows the reader to ‘get to know’ the authors.... I was impressed with the amount of Canadian content. More to the point, the content was relevant.”
--Greg Tyndall, College of New Caledonia
“The THINK readings are a great way to introduce students to research. I like the highlighting of key points and the explanations or questions that accompany them. I think they are really well done.”
