Synopsis

At the beach Ben and Bella meet a lost baby mermaid - and a very cantankerous lobster! In the hills they build a cool little bush house called Snuggle Deep, in which to spend the long, hot summer. In the park they help a mother bandicoot find her wayward son who has run off with a gang of unsavory rats. And on a picnic they come to grief when they accept a rind on a duck's back.
Children will adore their antics, beautifully illustrated in Peg's inimitable style in colour and black and white.
