The memoirs of the author, and more particularly of the women he was involved with, during the heady days of the 1960s in London. One of the long-legged women he was involved with, and whom he actually married, was Germaine Greer. Softening of the back strip edges with a little rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Age toning of the text block edges and pages with scattered foxing to the text block edges. Previous owners initials to the top right hand corner of the title page. Chipping to the top dustwrapper corners and there is a 2.25" tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel, closest to the back strip. A previous owner has supported the tear with tape, tape to the front surface, and, is still in situ. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels. Some dust marks along the fold over crease of the rear panel and foxing to the top edge of the dustwrapper - verso. This is the first UK edition.
