Book Description Jonathan Cape, London, 1981. Hardcover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First Edition (First published, year). The author, Christopher Logue, has crossed out his printed name on the title page and signed his name above it (see photo). A signed copy of this book is quite rare. I've priced it quite inexpensively despite its excellent condition (do some comparison shopping). As you can see from the photographs, the black covers are unsoiled, the gilt lettering on the spine is perfect. The covers are in fact unworn, no issue to call out. The top and bottom edges, the corners, the spine ends, all excellent. The interior of the book appears to be flawless. No one has written their name (with the exception of the author) or anything else on any page in the book. There are no markings. I didn't see any instances of soiling. No creasing. The book is solidly bound. I wish every description was this easy. You can see the dust jacket in the first three photographs. It is Not price-clipped. It isn't soiled. It doesn't have any tears. The spine ends and corners are in very good shape. That's it. The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. Signed by Author(s). Bookseller Inventory # 000898
