Synopsis

The Quaker Tapestry is a celebration of the three hundred years' experience and the spiritual insights of the Religious Society of Friends (known as Quakers). The book is not a brief history of Quakerism nor a work of propaganda, but an extended commentary and reverie of the 75 facets of the Tapestry panels, whose subjects were chosen and lovingly illustrated by those who worked them under expert advice: an attempt in an unusual form to communicate and share.
