After him, Dr. Kenriclt contributed a (portion of improvement by his Rhetorical Dictionary ih which the words are divide into syllables as they are pronounced, ano figures placed over the vowels, to indicate the di erent sounds. But this gentleman has rendered his' Dictionary extremely imperfect, by entirely omitting a great num ber of words of doubtful and difficult pronunciation - those very words tor which a Dictionary of this kind would be most consulted.
