About the Author

Atarah Ben-Tovim was made an M.B.E. (1980) - for services to children's music. She has an Honorary Doctorate of Music from the Council for National Academic Awards (1991) and is an Associate of both the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. She was a child prodigy on the flute. Douglas Boyd is a brilliantly gifted linguist but a musical drop-out.
