VG / G. 1st Printing of the 1969 Yale Ben Jonson 1st Edition thus, edited, with introduction, by Gabriele Bernhard Jackson. some mild ripple to pages suggests possible prior moisture exposire, but Book closes tightly and there is no odor or hint of mildew. Book has a hint of cocking, is securely bound, mildly and uniformly age toned and, except for some light staining along top edge, free of other blemishes and markings. Some age fading, particularly noticeable along the headcap and tail, Cover is nevertheless clean and bright, with sharp corners, gently bumped joints, head and tail, straight spine, hinges and edges, and clearly legible gilt stamped lettering. Dust Jacket is unclipped (reflecting original USD $7.50 price), uncased in protective mylar, and age toned, with rubbing / chipping at the corners, joints, tail and at bottom of front panel, with some losses.
