The underlying board is also split (see photo). Structural integrity was not comprised. Text block edges are bright and clean. Pages are free of marks or damage. Notes, bibliography and index in rear section. Dust jacket is b&w pictorial over black wraps with orange and red titling. Stiff paper with minimal surface and edge wear. There is a repaired split where the cover split is. Richard Oakes was a leader in the Red Power movement, less known that some other figures. He was murdered in 1972.
