Lettie B. (Mrs. Charles E.) Cowman served with her husband as a pioneer missionary in Japan and China and was instrumental in founding the Oriental Missionary Society. Her devotionals are second only to those of Oswald Chambers in worldwide popularity. She died in 1960 at age 90. Jim Reimann is the editor of the best-selling, modernized version of Oswald Chamber’s My Utmost for His Highest. He lives in Decatur, Georgia
