The Beene Family has few gifts around the Christmas tree. The children dream of a scrumptious Christmas dinner, but each year it is the same watery soup. They all hope for something really wonderful to happen and the youngest child, Fannie, keeps telling them a miracle is on its way. This miracle, as it turns out, is a hungry homeless woman and a young boy who show up at their door. Their faith-filled mother gives these two hungry people their soup.
