Review:
"One strength common to virtually all of the book's chapters is the great conceptual/theoretical detail that is presented. Otherwise include the reasonably engaging style of writing, the highlighted "controversies" (well chosen and presented), the graphics, and the photos."
"World Politics is the most current, comprehensive, and 'inviting' textbook on international relations on the market. Students will like the Controversy Boxes, Where on the World Wide Web? And the chapter on Ten Questions About Twenty-First-Century Global Prospects. Instructors will appreciate the serious thought given to Suggested Readings at the end of every chapter and the excellent References section at the end of the book."
"WORLD POLITICS is the most comprehensive international relations survey text ever written. There are many survey texts to choose from, but this one does the discipline justice at a level any college student can understand."
"WORLD POLITICS successfully integrates sophisticated theoretical treatment of analytical issues with a thorough presentation of substantive material. It is well written, and the visual material for students is well selected and organized. The essays on controversies in international relations are engaging and should force students to think about some of the major issues in international relations. The authors have updated all important pieces of information and they blend in nicely discussions of recent events."
