About the Authors: John Ingrassia is a partner in the law firm of Larkin, Axelrod, Ingrassia & Tetenbaum LLP, where he practices criminal defense law. Approximately 50 percent of his practice involves defending individuals accused of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He has successfully defended numerous individuals charged with DWI related offenses at trial, suppression hearings, DMV administrative hearings, and on appeal. Kathleen V. Wells is an associate of the law firm Larkin, Axelrod, Ingrassia & Tetenbaum LLP. Since graduating from law school, she has primarily focused her attention on criminal law and the representation of clients charged with DWI and related offenses. She has successfully defended DWI clients at trial, pre-trial hearings, DMV administrative hearings, and on appeal. She currently has a DWI case pending before New York State's highest court, the Court of Appeals.
