Book Description
This book has been written especially for children who have been convinced by the attitudes of adults that mathematics is impossible and only for bright kids. It shows that maths is nothing more than a way of looking at the world and that it can be relevant to everyday life and fun.
About the Author
Marilyn Burns is one of today's most highly respected mathematics educators and is the founder of Math Solutions. She received the Louise Hay Award for Contributions to Mathematics Education, and in collaboration with Scholastic, she developed "Do the Math" TM, a program for elementary students.
David Weitzman is an author and illustrator of numerous books for children, including Skywalkers, Pharoah's Boat, and A Subway for New York.
