About the Author:
Robert D. Halpert, M.D., is Radiology division head and residency program director at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Centers. A dedicated educator, Dr. Halpert was originally selected to lead this volume in the series because of his vast teaching experience and his recognized ability to communicate effectively. His experience as residency program director keeps him acutely aware of the needs of radiology residents, a perspective that drives the pedagogy ofthis book. Dr. Halpert is well-published, having co-written The Radiology ofInflammatory Bowel Disease (Saunders) and contributed to Pharmaceuticals in Medical Imaging (Macmillan) and Handbook of Gastrointestinal Imaging. In addition, he is the author of numerous journal articles, abstracts, and scientific exhibits.
Peter J. Feczko, M.D., is section head of gastrointestinal (GI) radiology at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Centers. Highly recommended by Dr. Halpert, Dr. Feczko replaces Philip Goodman, M.D., as co-author. Dr. Feczko has published a substantial number of journal articles, many of them with Dr. Halpert.
