The world of work and organizations is complex, ambiguous, changing, diverse, and global. In the new millennium, hierarchies are flatter, deadlines are shorter, teams are pervasive, employees must manage themselves, and technology is transforming the nature, pace and possibilities of work. It is a place where success requires the skills to react quickly and effectively at all times, often while working with others and new technologies. This vast array of challenges demands a well- prepared employee. This book helps every employee succeed in this time of rapid change.
