Hudson Taylor was a pioneer of a Christian way of life which has aroused enthusiasm and had a great following for over a hundred years. He was convinced that he should live without human guarantee of material support, believing that God who had called him to China would unfailingly supply the necessities of life. He applied the principle when in 1865 he founded the China Inland Mission.Hudson Taylor's Legacy was first published to mark the centenary of his birth.
