Davidson, Rector of Sti?ikey in Norfolk, told a startled court when he was tried for immorality in 1932. Certainly Davidson was no stranger to bedrooms. Leaving Stiifkey by the ?rst train on Monday morning, he habitually spent the whole week in London, ministering to girls whose virtue was in danger, if it was not already lost, returning to Stilfkey late on Saturday night.
