During the excitement of the Christmas season, Bigelow Bear neglects his best friend, a toy truck named Ollie, but on Christmas Eve he remembers the joys and responsibilities of friendship.

Bigelow Bear has a favorite truck named Ollie, and whenever his parents suggest an activity, the little truck is happy to chug along. When Bigelow's beloved Gramma visits and shares his room, Ollie is temporarily forgotten and cries in his garage. But on Christmas Day, Bigelow suddenly remembers his old vehicle pal, and the two friends are once more united. Kyte occasionally reaches for humor with touches such as adults calling the little bear "Sweet Fur," "Fluffy Toes," or "Grizzly Feathers." The beaverish-looking bears in their household cluttered with human details and the little truck-person may strike a chord with small truck lovers, but they're sure to find the washed-out color of the paint and black-line illustrations less resounding.
