About the Author

Biodun Jeyifo is Professor of English at Cornell University, and a Nigerian native.  His books include The Truthful Lie: Essays in a Sociology of African Drama, Wole Soyinka: A Voice of Africa, The Yoruba Popular Travelling Theatre of Nigeria, and Contemporary Nigerian Literature: A Retrospective and Prospective Exploration.
