About the Author
Ruth Henigis Dean of Arts and Humanities and Senior Lecturer in History at Lancaster University. Her many books include Versailles and After(1995); The Origins of the First World War(1993) both published by Routledge; and with CHris CulpinEurope, 1870-1945(1997). Simon Henig is Lecturer in Politics at Sunderland University.
