"The greater emphasis placed on SOCIOLOGICAL social psychology in this textbook resembles what I see in the book I currently use (Social Psychology: Sociological Perspectives by Rohall, Milkie, and Lucas 2011, Pearson). It is especially similar that both textbooks introduce and organizes materials around the three faces of sociological social psychology: SI, SSP, and GP (or GPS). However, I feel that this textbook does a superior job of providing more in-depth explanation of each perspective by dedicating a chapter for each. For that reason, I would definitely consider adopting this text over the one I am currently using."
