Classical Physics: Concepts, Applications, and Interpretations makes classical physics and its applications accessible and engaging, fostering a deeper understanding of fundamental physics concepts. Accessibly written, this book helps students understand and put core classical physics principles into practice, from classical mechanics to astrophysics to the basics of atomic, molecular, and chemical physics. Additionally, the book provides easy-to-understand methods for explaining orbital motion using the concept of jerk, and similarly explores negative pressure and its applications in various fields, tying in new interpretations of negative pressure as a fifth force in the universe.
The book bridges the gap between classical physics and its applications in different disciplines, providing students and researchers with a more intuitive and accurate understanding of fundamental concepts. It includes structured content and corresponding applications and figures, complemented by simple experiments to bolster students’ understanding. From an explanation of orbital motion to navigating the thermodynamics of negative pressure to diving into artificial lunar motion, the book provides novel insights into these phenomena. Ideal for courses in physics, mathematics, and related subjects, this helpful first edition delivers engaging explanations and additions to the role and importance of classical physics in our modern understanding of the field.

Harun Akon is a Physics professor at the University of Chittagong in Bangladesh since 1993. While on leave, he also taught in various schools, colleges, and universities in Canada. He spent the last 20 years studying classical physics in depth and identified inconsistencies and numerous anomalies across textbooks from various courses. This inspired him to write this book, aiming to bring coherence and symmetry to different aspects of classical physics education. Dr. Akon is a former fellow of the South Korean Science and Technology Foundation. He has authored numerous articles in the field of applied nuclear physics, using the name A.K.M. Harun-ar-Rashid. His multichannel authentication model is widely recognized and used for information access. Currently, Dr. Akon resides in Surrey, British Columbia.
Classical Physics: Concepts, Applications, and Interpretations makes classical physics and its applications accessible and engaging, fostering a deeper understanding of fundamental physics concepts. Accessibly written, this book helps students understand and put core classical physics principles into practice, ranging from classical mechanics to astrophysics to the basics of atomic, molecular, and chemical physics.
Additionally, the book provides easy-to-understand methods for explaining orbital motion using the concept of jerk, and similarly explores negative pressure and its applications in various fields, tying in new interpretations of negative pressure as a fifth force in the universe. Moreover, this book introduces new concepts in classical physics, such as photon charge and magnetic monopoles. The goal is to bridge the gap between classical physics and its applications in different disciplines, providing students and researchers a more intuitive and accurate understanding of these fundamental concepts. It also includes structured content and corresponding applications and figures, complemented by simple experiments to bolster students’ understanding. From an explanation of orbital motion to navigating the thermodynamics of negative pressure to diving into artificial lunar motion, the book provides novel insights into these phenomena.
This helpful first edition delivers engaging explanations and additions to the role and importance of classical physics in our modern understanding of the field. It is ideal for courses in physics, mathematics, and related subjects to adapt and overcome the challenges of teaching in the age of ChatGPT and DeepSeek.
