1970, Doubleday, NY. Hardcover suspense novel, 185 pages. Author's first novel, one that created quite a bit of controversy when it came out and was turned into a notable movie, starring Warren Beatty. The film was terrific, but the novel is even better, a chilling account of people who start dying in horrendous ways and the conspiracy behind the deaths. Singer went on to have several other wonderful novels published. He's an author to look for.
