Synopsis
A Stalker From Hell

You can never trust a Demon Lord, and this is most certainly the case with Magoth, even though he is technically an ex–Demon Lord. Magoth is driving May Northcutt (aka the doppelgänger Mayling) mad. As May’s live-in boss, Magoth’s constant presence in her home is beyond annoying. For May, dealing with the dragon shard in her own heart is also a great burden. To further complicate matters, the almost dead, bloody body of her acquaintance, Savian, is left on her doorstep, proof that the evil dragon Baltic is on the prowl. A major dragon war seems inevitable, and there’s a likelihood that May’s beloved Silver Dragon, Gabriel, won’t survive it. The only thing that makes May’s life bearable is her great love for Gabriel, her true soul mate. This clever, hilarious, adventurous, and, at times, surprisingly poignant addition to the Silver Dragon series (Playing with Fire and Up in Smoke, 2008) is sure to please MacAlister’s many fans. --Shelley Mosley
