Professor Bejan received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 1976 until 1978 he was a Fellow of the Miller Institute for Basic Research in Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He received the J. A. Jones distinguished professorship in 1989.
