The Lantern is a collaborative undertaking that seeks to publish both important historical and contemporary works inspired by the hermetic tradition, and in particular that form of the tradition espoused by the Smaragdum Thallasses of New Zealand. Vol I contains a reprint of Part I of A Wayfaring Man, a fictional biography of Dr Robert Felkin written by his wife. Also included is a historically important essay on The Magic of Havelock North by DP, an essay on Robert Felkin the Astrologer by PP, a memoriam to G.H. Fra. Fiat Lux, and 3 essays by Fiat Lux himself - Introducing the Order, What is the Golden Dawn, and My Order Memories. These later essays will be of particular interest to students of the Golden Dawn. The Lantern Volume I is a strictly limited edition, limited to 100 copies. It commemorates 100 years since the founding of the Smaradum Thallasses in New Zealand, and is hand numbered from 1912 to 2011.
