Como dice el filósofo (1) al principio de la primera filosofía todos los hombres, por na turaleza, desean saber. La razón de lo cual puede ser el que toda cosa impulsada por providencia de_ su propio natural, inclinase a su perfección; de aquí que, pues la ciencia es la última per fección de nuestra alma, y en ella reside nuestra última felicidad, todos, por naturaleza, a desearia estamos sujetos. En verdad, muchos están ¡privados de esta nobilísima rperfección, por diversas causas, que dentro del hombre y fuera de él le apartan del hábito de la ciencia.
