About the Author:
Bernard F. Conners is former publisher of The Paris Review and bestselling novelist. Previous books: Dancehall, Don't Embarrass the Bureau, The Hampton Sisters. As an FBI agent, he supervised the night operations of the New York Division. He attained the rank of lieutenant in the US Army. He excelled in intercollegiate athletics and is a two-time Golden Gloves champion.
