J. Michael Baird, San Jacinto College: "This book simplifies a very complex topic. It gives my students a very solid simple foundation to follow."
Adansi Amankwaa, Albany State College: "Spatz tackles knotty statistical problems and makes it easy to understand. This is a terrific and informative textbook-which is written in such a way that makes it easy for readers to understand. Most importantly, the book allows students to critically think their way through problems and in the process allows them to consider a wide variety of points of view about the use of statistics."
Daniel Calcagnetti, Fairleigh Dickinson University: "The Spatz text is learner friendly and proceeds in a logical step-by-step approach that does not assume the learner has to make great intellectual leaps to grasp the major concepts.""This text edition will serve as a powerful tool to help accomplish the difficult task of communicating ideas that are otherwise "alien" to everyday thinking and problem solving."
