Back matter in each title consists of a visual "Words You Know" with small color photos repeated from the body of the book. These volumes fill a gap for information on these topics for very young children. Teachers of early elementary students will also find Diane Hoyt-Goldsmith's Celebrating Chinese New Year (Holiday, 1998) useful.
