The beginning of the book which is set in primitive England really hooked me and took me into the history of England gently by using the characters and families from generation to generation. While I am not a fan of English history, I am a lover of family sagas. Sarum taped right into my love of family sagas, capturing my attention with its interesting stories of people in the
respective time period.
