Marty Westfall, born in Kentucky, now lives in southern Illinois. She has been a professional doll maker and restoration artist for 36 years. For 12 years, she created antique replicas for Dollspart Supply Company, who shipped them all over the world. She is a well-traveled lecturer and teacher, and her articles on dolls have appeared in many publications worldwide.
