Synopsis
Baglione was one of the most successful artists in seventeenth-century Rome but became the target of scurrilous verses circulated around Rome. In response, Baglione brought a lawsuit against Caravaggio and other artists. This book seeks to redress this position and re-evaluate his life as painter, draftsman and writer.
