From School Library Journal:
Grade 9 Up-This revised edition (Watts, 1989; o.p.)] offers over 100 ideas in a variety of scientific disciplines. In some cases, detailed instructions are given for projects; in others, an idea is presented with a number of questions to be considered. There are many textual changes from the earlier volume, but the most important improvement is the number of suggestions for using computers to collect and analyze data. Another addition, not often found in books on this topic, is a discussion of gathering and presenting basic statistical information using computer-generated spreadsheets and charts. Web addresses are cited within the text, and an especially useful appendix lists a number of Internet sites relevant to the topics. The black-and-white illustrations and charts are helpful. This is a good resource for class assignments and science-fair projects, and should replace the previous edition.
