"I respect this book a great deal. There is a lot of good information and integration of good concepts and theory that I find appealing. The international focus woven throughout the book is an appealing concept as well, and the language usage is very appropriate for the level of my students."
"Overall, 'This is PR' is a thoroughly researched and well-written text on public relations. It is apparent that the experience and the expertise of the three authors have resulted in the success of the book."
"I adopted 'This is PR' because it treats public relations as the important, sophisticated industry that it is. It relies a great deal on the logic and strategy behind PR principles and has very little fluff. The book serves as an excellent reference for my students for years after completing the course. The majority of the boxed items are terrific and give a practical tone to the text."
"Overall, I like the approach of the text. I think it is solid and very contemporary. ..The emphasis on public relations is particularly laudable."
