Algebra for College Students presents a comprehensive introduction to topics in Intermediate- and College-level algebra. Known for its clear, "no-nonsense" explanations as well as for mathematical accuracy and rigor, Gustafson has long been counted among the tried-and-true algebra texts. The fifth edition has been substantially revised and now features not only new pedagogy-Self Checks, Vocabulary and Concept exercises-but also a new design and a brand new ancillary package-Videos, Interactive Tutorial Software, and World Class Test. Long-time Gustafson users will appreciate the updates the author has made while non-users now have plenty of reasons to take a closer look.
