Linking social work research and generalist practice throughout the book, Christine Marlow shows how relevant and understandable the process of research can be. She discusses the application of research methods in agency settings where many readers of this book will begin their careers. Examples of real-life social work studies throughout the book reinforce the link between research and practice.
