Joseph Garber (1943–2005) was an American author best known for his international bestseller Vertical Run. He also published the novels Rascal Money, In a Perfect State, and Whirlwind. Garber was a columnist for Forbes magazine and wrote occasional literary criticism for the San Francisco Review of Books.
