PreSchool-K. In a rhyming text that clunks along and with syrupy cartoon illustrations, Haidle explains her version of the religious significance of candy canes. With their hard-rock substance, their pure white color, single red stripe, and J shape, they are said to symbolize Jesus. The lack of any real story and the mediocre quality of the whole package make this a less-than-memorable offering. In fact, it hits rock bottom.
