Book Description Gollancz, London, 1978. Hard Cover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First UK Edition. The well known crime novel writer's only foray into science fiction. Not to be confused with the 2000 movie that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. Scarce in good condition. The book is in Near Fine condition. It is tight, has a slight lean, there is a bit of compression at the foot of the spine, a shallow dent (3-4 mm) to the rear gutter and some equally spaced, shallow, vertical impression marks (2 mm wide) in the buckram near both the front and rear gutters (probably made by a roller during the manufacturing process, there being no matching marks on the jacket). Internally very clean. There are no inscriptions or previous owner names. 182 pages. The jacket is in Very Good condition. It is price-cut and has a spine that is a little faded, plus there are a few minor dings and scratches. Without packaging this book weighs 282 grams. Size: 223 x 136 x 18 mm.
