He has held several startup and operating company board and C-level management positions, and served on the MIT Sloan Fellows Board of Governors. His research and strategic planning work helped to set UK aerospace manufacturing policy through 2020, and he has advised top executives of companies around the world, including Kraft Foods International, Miami-Floral Industry, SinoPac International, Airborne Express, FedEx, Saudi Aramco, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, and GKN Aerospace.
He earned a Ph.D. in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and International Business Strategy from the University of Cambridge, an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, and a B.S. in Biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Billie Brown, Director of Research with Ellis Strategy Group, has been a marketing consultant and researcher for more than four decades. She has taught graduate and undergraduate marketing and journalism classes at Emory University; the University of Hartford, Connecticut, and Georgia State and Kennesaw State universities in Atlanta.
