At the age of 9, Katie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is a gentle, sweet and caring child, with an adventurous spirit, and a desire to always help others first. Her brother, Will, is almost always by her side, and together they have made friends with an amazing rabbit named Robert P. Rabbit. He can talk to them, and they to him, but that is not true of everyone. Together the three of them have adventure after adventure, even though many times Katie has to be in her wheelchair. In this collection of short stories we follow Katie, Will and Robert P. Rabbit for a full year as they go from Katie's home in the Appalachian Mountians to the Beaches of South Carolina to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Once you get to know them you will want to follow along in this book, and in the books to come as they solve incredible mysteries . The narrator of the book is Katie's GrandDad, who, like Katie and Will, has made a good friend of Robert P. Rabbit.
