About the Author
Professor Salima Ikram is Assistant Professor of Egyptology and American University in Cairo. She is the author of `The Mummy in Ancient Egypt' (Thames and Hudson). She has curated and organised many special exhibitions including `May He Live Forever', celebrating the 75th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
