About the Author
Christopher Hale is an award-winning writer and producer who was educated at Sussex University and the Slade School of Fine Art. He has made numerous films about the sciences and arts for all the major broadcasters, including the BBC. He has filmed and travelled in unmapped regions of Mozambique and the Yemen in search of a 'lost tribe of Israel' - as well as in previously unexplored parts of Borneo and on one of the remotest islands in the Pacific. He lives in London and New York.

Hardcover. Condition: Like-New. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. 422 Pages. First edition by the full number line. The dust jacket is not price-clipped. This is a very in-depth look at the German expedition into Tibet in 1938 searching for the origins of the Aryan race. The book's dust jacket is in a Near-Fine condition only due to some dark droplet remains (done during printing?) on the book's spine and some slight wearing at the top of the spine. The interior book, however, is in Fine to Like-New condition as it has no visible extraneous markings, stickers, detriments or distractions throughout it and hence all of its printing and photographs are all in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and the book's sewn-in bindings are tight and therefore would be sound. From the way the book opens, it was never read. If you order this deep look into a very little known, but interesting expedition just before WWII from us, we will carefully wrap it up in either foam or bubble wrap, then pad and box it and mail it right away to you with both insurance and tracking on it.
