He has either written, illustrated, or edited nearly forty books for adults and children, including his classic textbook, "Cartooning: The Art and the Business"; "More Spaghetti, I Say!"; and "Joy in Mudville: The Big Book of Baseball Humor". He lives in New York City with his wife, Judith.
